The Perpetual Profession of
Sister Gina Mae Campugan

At 10 o’clock, was the grand celebration of the 25th Beatification Anniversary of Marie Rivier, the Perpetual Profession of Sister Gina Mae Campugan, and Sister Donatila Cruz’s 40th anniversary of profession was remembered.  Archbishop Fernando Capalla, the Archbishop of Davao was the main celebrant.  With him were Bishop Guillermo Afable of the Diocese of Digos, Davao del Sur and Bishop Leonardo Medroso of Tagbilaran, Bohol.  There were 18 priests who concelebrated.  The presence of the parents,  the family members of Sister Gina Mae,  the family of Sister Donatila, some men and women religious of Davao, our Associates and friends added meaning and joy to the celebration and of this great day.. 
 

To intensify the preparation, the whole province joined in a Triduum of prayer to Marie Rivier.  The celebrations of the 23rd opened with an hour of adoration for the whole Province,  at the big Chapel, followed by morning praise. 

Then the sisters proceeded to the Marie Rivier Heritage Center for the ceremony of the blessing by Bishop Leonardo Medroso, the Bishop of Tagbilaran, Bohol.

On May 3rd , Sister Archenet Canamo made her First Profession.  Reverend George Rimando, the Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Davao was the Eucharistic President.
