Welcome to you, members of the Marie Rivier family!
By coming to the “country of our sources”, we will relive together a sacred history. We will find nourishment for our faith; and, when we leave this place, we will bring back with us a new strength to pursue our spiritual journey.
This pilgrimage will also be a school of love. We will journey “together”, and we will pursue the same goal. New bonds will be woven among us through our sharings and solidarity.
It will also be a time to revive our hope: a sign of our deep desire to seek God in spite of the difficulties of the way. He is there at the end of the road. He awaits us all... He promised it.
May this pilgrimage “to the country of our sources” (roots), strengthen within us a deep sense of our belonging to God and to his people who are the Church. And may this faith experience become for us a source of unending joy, happiness and strength!
